I love fat hens

The austral pygmy owl (Glaucidium nana) or Chuncho is a species of owl in the family Strigidae. It is found in Argentina and Chile.

I love broiler hens so why not draw one in a basket with balloons tied to it?up up and away

Exploring nature in self-isolated times

Done for a friend for a new writing idea featuring her character (the baby), and mine - because I haven’t written anything in over a year and was running low on motivation on that front until this. Also, babies are hard to draw

I’ve been doing ink doodles somewhat like this since the early 80s but I have to give a shout-out to Visoth Kakvei for greatly influencing my style the last couple of years.

I wanted to do something with some deep shading because I hadn't done it before and she turned out a tad bit creepier than I had intended but the outcome was good in the end. I really like how her hair came out because painting hair is the bane of my existence. I think she came out great.

I'm a big fan of the Deathly Hallows films and the sober, dark air of the story.

Here's the latest I've been working on, Illustration A0110. I've been messing with a cool Linocut brush I found for Procreate. Also digging the new text feature they added to the app! Made with Apple Pencil + iPad, tracked time: 7 hours and 30 minutes.

Done on the iPad using procreate. Therapeutic meditative doodling.
